GLOBAL HARMONY ART FOUNDATION
      Ukrainian artists initiated the international project "Art against a pandemic". Herman Makarenko UNESCO Artist for Peace become an author of the project. His initiative to unite artists in the fight against the pandemic and the crisis caused by the COVID-19 was supported by UNESCO Artists for Peace around the world: French sculptor Hedva Ser, Mauritian singer Jane Constance, musician and composer from Turkey Kudsi Erguner, violinist from Japan Eijin Nimura and his compatriot artist Setsuko Klossowski DE Rola, pianist from Georgia Elisso Bolkvadze, opera singer from South Korea Sumi Cho, fashion designer from Niger Alphadi.

      The project received the full UNESCO support.

      The project was highly appreciated by Acting Minister of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine Svitlana Fomenko during an online meeting with Ministers of Culture of UNESCO member states. The head of the MCIP emphasized that the "Art against a pandemic" initiative is an example of finding new forms of work in quarantine and a manifestation of international solidarity.
